About My Craniosacral Healing

Building Relationships

You will reap the benefits of craniosacral therapy if it becomes a regular part of your life. My goal is for us to work together to take better care of your health, long-term.

Sharing Knowledge

Communication is key. I need to know what you're feeling, experiencing and what you're looking to gain in order to best help you. In turn, I will explain the treatment and what you can expect to gain from it.

Helping You Feel Better

Craniosacral therapy is a tool to help heal. Whether it's stress, illness or simply to pamper yourself, the benefits of craniosacral therapy can be life changing. I would be honored to take that journey with you.

Treatments

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a light-touch approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance.

You endure stresses and strains and your body absorbs them.  But your body can only handle so much tension before the tissues begin to tighten and potentially affect the brain and spinal cord.  This can compromise the function of the central nervous system.

Using a very light touch, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system.  CST techniques can be used throughout the body to release restrictions wherever may be.  Craniosacral therapy can also be used as a preventive health measure because it bolsters the body's resistance to disease.

CST was pioneered and developed by osteopathic physician John E. Upledger after years of clinical testing and research at Michigan State University, where he served as a clinical researcher and professor of biomechanics.

What conditions can CST help?

It has been shown to help a full spectrum of pain, illness and dysfunction, including:

Migraines and headaches

Chronic neck and back pain

Stress and tension-related disorders

Spinal cord injuries

Post-concussion symptoms

Chronic fatigue

Fibromyalgia

TMJ syndrome

Scoliosis

Central nervous system disorders

ADD/ADHD

Post-traumatic stress disorder

And many other conditions
